Baofeng 5RM#
I had an older Baofeng that I lost the base to so when searching for a new charger, I came across this Baofeng for only $30!
I gave my old Baofeng to my brother so he could listen in to nets before getting his license. This little radio rocks the Nagoya NA-771 whip and is primarily used for mobile operations and SSTV signal stuff.
AnyTone AT-778UV#
This little 25w radio is my main base station and can reach out to the USS Yorktown repeater, which is over 18 miles away! Not bad for a $125 diamond in the rough!
I have this hooked up to the J-Pole and its primary use is for checking in with nets and annoying local hams with my signal checks. XD
